LOL at this thread, and the direction it takes. These threads have a life of their own.
Common hips? Chris is hip, so is Karen, and jellybeans are so cool they belong in Christmas stockings, not just Easter baskets.

Actually, if you get the RIGHT kind of jellybean, they can be hot!  Like Serenity!  All kinds of relevance...

Just what could MY HIPS, jellybeans and Christopher all have in common
----------------------------------

The ties here are actually quite easily explained.
Christopher  and jellybeans are similar in that they are colorful and certainly Christohpers words and Jellybeans can be considered a tasty treat.

Serenities hips are used by her to support the legs she uses to give Christopher an occaisional kick in the pants, trying to get his muse to cooperate, resulting in more tasy word treats. She too like Jellybeans provides us with a colorful pallete of ideas and thoughts to consider wrapped up in some amazing stories and poems.

having said this, without going around the world 3 times... the connections here are quite clear in my own mind. Obviosly without jellybeans we would not be able to exist in this place nor would any poems ever be written by Chris and Ser... so we are fotunate indeed there is no projected shortage of jellybeans in the near future..

Now Christohper... it is a large jump from proving you, jellybeans, and Ser's hips are in some way related, to saying the everything revolves around you. If that were true... then each time you changed locations the alignment of all semi-equinoxal lattitudes would be shifted into a hyper euclidian alignment and... there would be no jellybeans... if there were no jellybeans..then it would be impossible for Ser to kick you in the pants... and I think that is something you just wouldn't want to have happen... it could for example shift the world order so that instead of Ser kicking you...you found yourself, feet and legs on backwards... walking around trying to kick yourself. Now.. I know people think you are cute, and you would not want to lose that image would you?

Actually, with that image planted firmly in mind, I'm finally starting to see how the cute image got started.

I'm still trying to figure out how Cpat Hair knew that my hips support my legs, instead of the vice of versa!

Nan... I respectfully decline the eggnog but thank you for the offer. I would take another cup of coffee if yo have one, if not, a glass of water would be great!

I'm afraid Candy canes and jellybeans are actually from different species. Proving that Christopher, Ser's hips and candy canes are connected is a bit more difficult for that reason. It seems anythime one deals with candy canes and their relationship to other things the logic takes a u-turn at the end and ends up hanging out on a limb.

Sugar.  It all boils down to sugar.

And if anyone says I call Chris "sugar"...
there'll be coal in your stocking.

Is "Sudhir" the same as "Sudheer"? I hope you don't mind me asking. My former GP was called Dr. Sudheer Verma. Once, when I asked Dr. Verma what his name meant, he replied, "it means 'resolute but considerate and wise'."

HAHA, our Sudhir is indeed wise.
And blaming Chris is so much fun. He loves the attention,  dontcha cutie?
I still want some jellybeans for Christmas though. Red and green will do.
And as for that mouse dude, I'd like to see him with an Easter basket, full of jellybeans of course, and a pix of our cutie in a bunny outfit.

yes, Winston... Sudhir and Sudheer is the same... and I would say it actually means Courageous  ...

The word is a combination of Su + Dhir (or Dheer) ... "Su" is usually a prefix meaning Good (quality/quantity of)... and Dhir/Dheer is a derivative of the Sanskrit/Hindi word "Dheeraj" which means courage... now possessing sufficient quality/quantity of courage (maybe) makes one resolute etc...

Regards,
Sudhir

Hey thanks Sudhir, that re-assures the faith I had in Dr Verma. He was a brilliant story teller (some of it from his own life experienes before his move to USA). I can recall one time, when he had serious drilling to do, telling me about a farmer in Pondicherry who refused to have his tooth taken out with local anaesthetic! I asked why he might have done that. Dr Verma said that the patient was a member of an ancient sect that practiced mind-control (something that we, in the West have only recently studied in psychology or neurology).
