My sister lived in Baton Rouge for 8 years and is back here now in Indiana.  We have some pretty rough winters and I hate being snowed in too. I hate being penned in in any way!  So I can relate to this.  I know when we visited her I enjoyed the fall weather there but it was very humid.

Keep your Internet provider paid up and the lights on, burn those candles and stay connected!

My perception of truth will somehow never quite be the same..and so I write.

Hmm, let me scrape up some sympathy, from the town where it is 8 degrees tonight..LOL
I hate to go out in the cold, but I'm sick of being inside too. What a dilema..

I know how you feel. It's really chilly here - 68 was our high today - had to wear a sweater this morning. Sigh!

Sweater? At 68 degrees, I usually turn on the AC.

Haven't had to use that around here lately, though.

Gee, Karen, talk about coincidences! That sounds just like what I wore to the grocery store today.

Uh, I mean the BOOTS, of course...

Yeah, I agree with RosePetal. I'd love to trade with you. Singapore is so warm and humid! What's more, it's 'summer' all year round!! *hot*

You know, serenity, I would give anything right now for a bit of snow. It has been around 40 degrees here. (102 in your scale I think)
I used to live further south and would love to go up the mountains for the snow. I miss it.

I enjoyed LA a couple of winters ago, Seren...but I also enjoyed CA as a child, with the exception that we never had snow at Christmas.  Like all those "easterners..."...and this year, in 20 degree KS?  Still no snow.  It all went east....

You'll survive...LOL...

Ugh! I wish i could have even just a few degrees of your cold weather!! Right now it's 7:17am, and I've been awake since before 6am, because it's just too darn HOT to sleep! 91 degrees before 8am is just too much to bear! There are two fans in my bedroom, but they don't help!

Solution for cabin fever - Get in the car and drive for two days... Enjoy the palm trees and the warm sun... Go out and play...

Drive home - two more days... get back to work... yuck...

note - some of Ron's tops are wholly interesting conversation pieces...

Nan? DO TELL....lol.

But I don't drive, but my solution for cabin fever? KICK EVERYBODY ELSE OUT INTO THE COLD.

I think Cabin Fever is a state of mind, not a state of weather conditions.
