You can't quit. We need more sensible straightforward honest people here. we just don't need them to be rude, and you have never been rude, and should not have been abused verbally. Please stay, and know that the poem "Respect for all poets" was written after I read that offensive thread.

Just take a break from PIP.  A little breather never hurt anyone.

I just came back from my "vacation," and I'm about as happily active as I ever was.

It works.

Every once in a while I find a thread where all the action is...{~,^}

ME...I've had to take a chill pill now and then when someone said something to me and didn't include a   or a   and I interpreted their words the wrong way.

Unfortunately, the man was out of place, and is now...out of Place....

so I for one am glad to see that YOU are staying, and I look forward to your next posting...and make it soon, OK, 'cause I need some Christmas candy that's non-fattening!

ME...

I must admit that I don't think I've ever commented on any of your work, and I'm sorry about that. But reading other people's comments here made me realise that you are a very special and important person to all of them, and leaving PIP would be a disappointment to them. I think that the best thing to do would be to either take a break, and just poke your head in now and then. Or maybe read poems and email your comments? But don't let something like this ruin your fun, because that's what this is. It's for fun. Sometimes we forget that. You do what is going to be most helpful for you, and you hurry back!!
