Hello! I'd like to complain please.

I'm complaining about all the people who post non-complaint posts in here, but instead post idle chitchat. There's a place for that you know... the members lounge! Oh, we serve better coffee too

Ahhh....a valid complaint. Please take a number from the lady sitting outside the building and wait for it to be called.

Ahhh...good, I see you have your number...let's see....#8014...please have a seat and peruse our antiquated copies of Life magazine until your number is called.

Now calling #2...now calling #2....

I'm afraid I have to agree with serenity here, Colin. Please and complain should never be in used in the same sentence I'm afraid. Btw, what kinds of coffee are availible in the lounge? I need a jolt to wake me up today!!!

Well well well methinks Colin just wants to lure Ali's customers away with the promise of awesome coffee.
Uhm did I mention that I used to own an espresso bar? And I am opening one in the Member's Lounge.....

Does that mean I'll never get to post anything in here?  See, I'm not a natural complainer, but more of a peace-maker, and I like to come in and read and offer differing viewpoints as opposed to an actual complaint about what everyone else is complaining over.

Sigh....

Ok, due to popular demand, a shiny new cold drinks machine has been added right next to X Angel's shiny new espresso cart in the members lounge. There's a teapot kicking around somewhere too

It came to me in a blinding flash of inspiration! Why not pop into the lounge and leave your drinks order with the waiter

Complaints can turn into chit-chat easily, as you all see from this thread alone. Another thing is that the member's lounge is fairly new. There used to be 3 main discussion forums; The Alley, Feelings, and Philosophy 101. The latter two were for in-depth and deep conversation, so The Alley was the place for the chit-chat. Old habits die hard, ya know! It just takes some getting used to.

I think it's called Piptalk lounge at the mo, but maybe that's just a working title???
