Where no tyranny is tolerable

The face of tyranny
always wears a mask of
gentle, benevolent compassion,

Mouthing vacuous platitudes about fairness, justice,
equality and a better life for all;
All tyrannies start
by claiming to represent
the oppressed, victimed masses of the people,
before then viciously slaughtering
the very same people by the millions,
because they will be tagged enemies of the State.
Every tyrant starts by wearing golden charms,
a crowd of adoring useful idiots,
a smiling face, and velvet gloves----
at first.

It couldn't happen here ... ...
(like sausages, lipstick and Special Olympics)
could it?

Friendship is for Life, if not Forever.
