Break Free

Break free from these chains that wrap around you
Look into your heart...just find a way to be true
I know the sadness you feel
Only by truth shall you heal

Please don't cry so many tears
My friendship will help ease your fears
I know the troubles that weigh on your mind
How you wish that time you could just rewind

Please know that in me you have a true friend
It's only love and happiness that to you I send
Break free from the chains, do it now
If you don't know what to do...I'll do my best to show you how

You are special and have your own light
I'll be there to see you through the darkness of night
If you feel you can't go on, and you need somewhere to lay your head
Rest it on my shoulder...your secret is safe and will never be said

"you can't stop
the rain
from pouring down
can't stop the
world from turning 'round
can't stop me from
loving you
no matter
what you do"

This is my favorite line:
"You are special and have your own light
I'll be there to see you through the darkness of night"
It's a special friend indeed, who will make such a promise.
