Your miracle baby
Is what you used to call me
When you're heart was locked
It was I who had the magic key

You bragged to everyone about me
I heard all the continuous buzz
Then your love for me faded
Just like a novelty does

Mother may I
Say what's on my mind?
You may be my mother, but I resent you
For depriving me of your time

Your heart is a deadly weapon
I'm the one you use it against
My ballpoint pen and pad
have been my only defense

The mother I once knew
Vanished long ago into thin air
Or maybe I'm the invisible one
In the way of your busy affairs

Mother may I
be honest for a minute?
Over you, I'll no longer cry
This is it, I'm finished

How could you
One day be so proud
Then turn the other cheek
Like I'm a stranger in the crowd?

I'm hurt and it makes me mad
but my future children will have
The mother I wish I would've had
Unlike you, a seed turned bad

(big hugggssssss) Oh Joanna, I'm so sorry your mother ignores you so much, no girl like you should ever be left behind or defied like this and I hope someday she can have the heart to forgive and make it upo to you! (kisses) I know you are going to be a wonderful caring mother and you are going to make all your children so very happy, as I dream of being your hubby! (kiss on lips) This is so sad but wonderfully said, sweet friend, I love you! (hugs)

Joanna, this is a heartbreaking scene. I wish you didn't have the feelings and experience to write about such a horrible thing. I don't have my mother, haven't since I was ten. Don't give up.

Very well written, Joanna...and the bitterness came through in a very un-subtle manner.....
but I am glad that your children are going to have a wonderful mom because of your experiences.

Joanna, I can see you are hurting sweetie.  Sometimes we do what we have to do and our children don't see it as being right or fair.  Hopefully one day you and she will be close again...and if not, try not to be so hard on her.  I know you are going to be the greatest mom because of your experiences.  This must have really hurt you to write but I am sure it did help....right?  Please don't be sad, I care, and I'm right here with comforting hugs for you.  Email me anytime.  Love ya!

Joanna, I am truly sorry for your heartache right now.  This is well expressed and I hope that you find some healing in writing.
Reading this has inspired me to write...

Take care,

Rosey Posy darling girl OH MY! Such an outstanding and wonderful piece of writing, it’s clear you have a lot of anger, and clear why you have it. No mother could ever I believe ask for a better daughter than you, and you are a wonderful and amazingly talented writer. Not only do you have something to say but you say it in a forceful and direct way that captivates and holds the attention.

I utterly utterly love the way this is written darling girl. Absolutely perfect in flow and rhythm. The content is perfect too. You had something to say and you said it, I’d be proud to have you as a daughter I know. Hugs to you
