Listening to every heart

Probables [inspired by passing shadows]

How does life become easier
in its harshness…?
that’s like trying to pierce a point
in time
when the sun
decided to shine again,
when one begins to

dwell in that silence called death

mortal or otherwise, [any separation
will not do, even though it does]

by thinking of one’s passing, [going on
without us, our having once been of import
to their very living]

a wound so grievous
opens, and if we are lucky,

we might be thrown into remembering
how fast that absent love would staunch it
then hold us quickly to that chest again
rocking us
hugging on

one of the hardest things to learn,
something not easy to teach,
is that there can be a graciousness
in saying goodbye [of any kind]

gently,

as if we were to take that person by the shoulders
turn them around to show them
vistas of life still before them,

while they position in amazement
new terrains scattering before them,
we quietly recede into shadows...

life taught me,
always open a new door for someone
when you say goodbye...

and if it cannot be a door…
leave a window cracked open,
freshly Windexed….

your work has indeed taken a profound turn my friend. . . it's become more you. . . or, I should say, more of yourselves. . .

this is a perfect example. . . it reads like I'm talking to someone. . . and they want me to listen. . . so. . . I hear. . .

well done. . .

Oh Karilea, I do not know what to say now...I'm at a loss for words for being credited for inspiring such a beautiful work of art here from you...

my goodness, I think I'll just sit here in awe for awhile...I love this feeling, of not having words, just being a part of someone else's words that have been painted with such love onto this canvas we have here. Very good feeling, thank you so much.

These lines were my favorites... until I reached the ending. *S* I love this, Sunshine... it's one to keep... to ponder... to treasure. *S*

(smiles) Such wonderful wisdom shines from your words, sweet friend, I believe when we all do say goodbye and close one door, another always opens and we should always try and look for new territories with greener pastures and look for the probabilities! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

We are the keyholders of all the important doorways
We are the gatekeepers to all who would pass
Its only natural that not everyone who enter
are here to stay
