“DINNER BY CANDLELIGHT”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Standing there to greet,
evening gown supreme…
Blue its color, delicate,
only seen in a dream…
Roses my bouquet,
my hand you take…
Wine red, as your lips,
feelings to awake…
Music dreamy to hear,
like tender whispers…
Wanting only you,
precious, to be lovers…
Shadows on the wall,
dancing into night…
Gazing eyes soft,
dinner by candlelight…
I find that you and I speak the same language, that is a good thing.
Thank you.
Bill darling boy oh my word this is just too too gorgeous, should writing ever be this perfect? You realise that you are making me mad with jealousy and envy. Well, you would if I was capable of writing anything even half as lovely as this beautiful gem is.
Oh how I’ve missed you darling boy, the days have just seemed somehow unfinished, or more correctly simply not whole Thank you for the injection of beauty and delight you’ve given me. This is utterly utterly wonderful.
Welcome home darling boy
