As time strolls
through the gardens
of yesteryear,
the memories
seep through the cracked mortar
of cobblestone paths
that lead to the many different
boquets that have been gathered
throughout the
days of past….
They grow into vines
spreading effortlessly along
the crumbling walls
of youth
but yet~~
clinging to the sides
creeping ever upward
greeting the dawn
of age…….
The dew that has gathered
from the mists of time
falls gently
d
o
w
n
to the ground
as the first light of day
awakens the dew kissed
memories,
stirring, reaching for the morrow…
This one drop falls into
the soil of tomorrow
being joined by
the raindrops of eternity…..
flowing
into the fountains
that stand on the pillars of time
once again giving life
to the gardens
of yesteryear……

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Yes, this is what I needed to read tonight....a soft and gentle calling from your heart words.....

Lauren~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart
