it's hard to find color in a gray sky
but yet, if you look close enough
       it is there
subtle shades of black and silver
that present themselves to the open eye
if you look enough
hues of white that reveal, at second sight,
       not blackness,
but comfort to warm the heart

I watch it hang above the open grass
and hug the evereaching trees
that's when I begin to feel it,
to feel it like they do

I feel the rain fall on my face
reminding me that I, like them,
am only just a seed
waiting to grow

and realizing that
perhaps, when days are gray and rain
instead of being sad and lonely
perhaps it should be
time for me to be
nourished

to feel loved
and to be
loved

WOW!  Amazing write my friend.
Just beautiful,
and I know this feeling very well.
You have penned it perfectly.
Hugs.

(smiles) This is soooooo beautifully heartfelt, sweet friend, I think we should all try and train ourselves to find solace and inner-peace even when it is gray and know deep down that He is hovering behind the cloids and His love is eminent through every ominous storm! (big hugggsssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

What an interesting way to view an overcast sky.  I never really liked it, but you've presented a new slant on it.  Enjoyed!

What an encouraging piece!  I love this, sven.  Even when the world appears dark, God still sheds his light.  Wonderful write.

thank you all my friends. . . I'm glad that I could share this bit of my vision with you. . . and I'm glad that it means something to each and every one of you. . .

may your days always be light. . . even when they're gray. . .

thank you all again. . .
