In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-04-03 07:05 PM

These days,
These days I try to look at life
Not through life,
It’s hard to do
It's humbling
Even the rain can be larger at times
Somewhat like the structure
Of music
I feel like I have walked
Ten thousand miles
Ridden bareback
Too long
And been blown by a wind,
That at times (that word again)
Is so un for giving
All
For the search of truth
Now, not just a “life truth”
But an inner seeking,
Hard kicking truth
To knock me back to my
Senses, which I can’t, seem to find
It must be lost upon the structure of landscapes,
Which,  presently escapes me
Why you ask?
April has been a long month
And right now anything is possible
Every poem is a spark right? Maybe?
A wall of shooting stars
Waiting for the empty feelings
To ignite a flame
That would be cause of a spark, correct?
Then explain what might be the fire?

I have lifted faith and hope
To one, bound in a failure, I can not
Explain
The reefs are exploding in full color
Now; beauty
And the clouds, well they know
The language in which I speak
For myself?
I will be like the structure of music
Faithful as I appear
Held together
Through time

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart

Lauren,

And the clouds, well they know
The language in which I speak

I think I may be learning it as well...at least I hope. Courage to you always.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, this is sooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, I love how you emphasized the word "appear" with bold text, I think a key part of lifting faith is to appear before Him and embrace the light! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Being faithful and true to ourself is the keyword(s).  There is light at the end of the tunnel I am convinced!  It doesn't seem to matter what topic you write of, there is always so much passion and depth in your poetry.  Be well Lauren.

Don't we all "appear" held together, my friend?  Hey, we do what me must and keep going.  This one made me think and I much enjoy poetry that causes me to ponder.  Nice work, Lauren.  *hugs*

When life is seen through the heart, the eyes can close and be.

Thank you.
