The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-04-03 06:04 PM

A freight train rushing to nowhere
A plane through the Bermuda triangle
A warp in expected plans
Time reneges on its' gifts,
laughs as it shows emptiness ahead
on the path of oblivion.
What was is not, and what shall be
is nearly past
while now is incoherent with sadness

And Time Whispers
"Waste not the given moments
for they are soon but memories"

Dangling over the cliff
I scoff at the idea of a bright future
for time has stolen it
in bits and pieces, until it feels too late,
and the crack in the champagne glass widens
as I try to drink.
It shatters, blood drips from my empty hand
as it would from a heart of thorns
or a wilted rose.
I sit forever on the edge
grasping life with final straws
and nightmarish dreams.

And Time Whispers
"I told you so"

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sandra, this is so very sad, sweet friend, time can indeed be cruel to us sometimes! (sigh) My heart goes out to your tears, sweet friend, continue to look for promises in the future, for time is bound to make up for everything soon, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh Sandra, It's no fun getting caught in the Bermuda triangle, but at least you didn't go down.  Hold onto your ticket to ride, there is always another bottle of champagne waiting to be poured!!   *hugs*

Curious thing about cliffs . . . they seem to suggest flying to me.
Cheers, cat, hope you catch an updraft soon!
