How do you mend something that
has been damaged beyond repair?
A broken heart cannot be mended
overnight by using a hammer
and nails or a piece of sticky tape

But a broken heart can be soldered
together by the love and support of others
those special people in our lives who
encourage us and remain a constant
source of inspiration
They are the reason behind our
accomplishments and the first
to shake our hands or pat us on the back
for a job well done

When we surround ourselves with
the love of others we unfold and expand
feeling comfortable in their radius
Our friends become an important part
of our lives as they remind us that
we are needed and indeed loved

Love and human kindness does not
have a pricetag but makes us richer
for the experience and we feel indebted
to those who give of themselves

My friend, I cannot give you diamonds
But I do have something to impart
My love I will deliver personally
Straight to the door of your heart

(smiles) Awwwwwww, this is soooooo beautifully heartfelt, sweet friend, I only wish that everyone could be like you and those who always offer love and kindness to others and can draw themselves away from selfish deeds and parsimony! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you are a delight to us all! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Beautiful!

The truth coming from down under!  Sue, I watch for your poems and I especially liked this one.

May you always be surrounded by love.  You pour it out so freely!
