His color is called Red Eye
and WayoutWalt his name
He is a beautiful little lamb
in the dark of night he came

On early morning rising sun
Not a Poet saw the light
his head and legs will stay brown
his fleece will turn all white

Janet Marie my dearest friend
this lamb I've named after you
I found her this morning by surprise
I hope you are happy too

The red eye got is name due to the 'red' circles around his eyes. It's a special color in the breed.

As for Not a Poet, all the black/white spots on his body will turn into white fleece, only his head and legs will be very darkbrown when he grows up.

And Janet Marie just wouldn't stand still!

Thanks all my friends, and WayoutWalt: you don't have to do anything to deserve them, love your name.

Poet deVine, that's a great idea, when it's ready I'll announce it in announcements LOL

Titia, must go feed the little hungry snobs, they're just devine.

Titia, I am absolutely lovin' this!  Just picturing these little critters bopping around the countryside, and you running after them calling out "Balladeer ... Janet Marie ... dinnertime!"  I just LOVE this, lol.

Best wishes and big hugs for the big smiles you're spreading around here with these adorable pictures and namesakes,
/Kit

Thank you dear friends, I'm enjoying it too.
Yesterdaymorning there were two more, have to take a pic yet and four ewes to go. Maybe even one tonight and at the sight of her it should be twins she's carrying.
