Sorry I could not get into my internet for the last three days.

Grass

I love the smell of new cut grass
It introduces dreams alas.
It makes me want to sit or lie
And fly the azure of the sky

To drink and think in mornings dew
To reverie a host of you
To vision butterflies in sight
Touch a fantasies bright light.

It is the pleasure of my day
To play the knight that comes your way.
To tip my lance and ask perchance
If there’s a boon I can advance.

Or garland you some poetry
In Shangri-la, just you and me
We’d look into each other’s eyes
And fantasize a world of lies

If you would be my lady fair
I’d turn this wile into a dare.

Seymour darling boy oh my word this is just too too gorgeous, should writing ever be this perfect? You realise that you are making me mad with jealousy and envy. Well, you would if I was capable of writing anything even half as lovely as this beautiful gem is.

Oh how I’ve missed you darling boy, the days have just seemed somehow unfinished, or more correctly simply not whole. There was a large Seymour shaped hole in them. Thank you for the injection of beauty and delight you’ve given me. This is utterly utterly wonderful.

Welcome home darling boy

You are the poetic promises whispered in air,
You are the sunshine fingers running thru my hair.
There will be no need for prayer or dare,
just close your eyes ... I'm already there.

JM,
Randy has been miserable for three days.
Now his breathing fire has turned to smoke.
Smiles at me and says it was a joke.
But I know he miss you in dragon ways.

Seymour hi there I missed you too, although truth to tell I’ve not been on PIP’s for a few days, but mum does read me the good stuff when I’m not able to get there. Your poems always make the list of the 'good stuff', and this is wonderful. You are as mum says a really fine poet.

Oh Seymour I hate when that happens. Like losing a friend isn't it. Glad you are back. And you are the only one who could make fresh cut grass sound so nice. floria

Careful, Sy, don't cut that grass too much or you won't get any of that happy stuff you are talking about . . . dreams, flying, reverie, visions, fantasies, pleasures, more fantasies, or Shangri-La for that matter.

Love this!  Oh yes...
touches my romantic soul.
Hugs to you this evening...

climbed out of my dungeon.
