look inside my silence
find the words
lurking
on the tip of
my heart
waiting to
be spoken
aloud

find the need
wrapped around
my broken
soul
take it
in your arms
and
hold it

whisper my name
in the prayers
of your hope
in the night of
your pain

I wait in
my silence
for your
one word
of
love

Yep, I agree with Magnus. Very soft and tender, but a powerful punch of meaning behind it. Like this a lot PdV

I really enjoyed this!     It's almost like a poem describing the moment before a poem.  That mulling of thoughts before they actually hit paper.

I was going to highlight my favorite lines... but realized I'd copied the entire poem. *S* Oh, to find someone who understands so completely. *S* This is magnificent, PDV. *S*
