no time to waste there’s a poem to chase
will it have pizzaz should I give it taste
should it be about someone that loves me
or about something I just don’t believe

fifty two years from the day I was born
through sheets of pain of sleet and storm
down in the dale a train blows its horn
over fields of sweet barley and corn

how ‘bout that girl in summer’s sunrise
the one with the smile and gleam in her eye
she sure made this sole spring alive
I was a fire back then torching the sky

down at the bus stop bidin' my time
I saw my girl kissing a friend of mine
I became one real bad loser
so instead of lovin’ I became a user

she was the girl with spring in her hair
her voice was a song I thought she was fair
she was the one I felt that loved me
now love is somethin' I never believe

wake up kid time to get on your toes
you haven’t the time to sit and doze
grab your bag and a few old clothes
stick out your thumb and hit the road

now isn’t this one a real disgrace
this is an aweful waste of space
there just must be another poem to chase

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

LOL ... and just what chaser are you using ?
You're a trip and a half !
And I love traveling through your thoughts~

Now ... ready for another ?
