This vessel has weathered
the most ominous of storms,
it has seen it's share of waves
that have felt as if...
as if though they might never
come to rest upon the shores.
It has spent days endlessly floating...
floating on the oceans of life
waiting to find a tranquil harbor
where it could rest awhile in peace.

It has aged, showing the battlescars
that it has survived...
surviving during days of thunder
yet mending as it drifted
along under the sereneful quiet
of star filled nights
sprinkled with the glow
from Lunas light.

It has been navigated
purposely to find this one place
where it was destined to be
and now feeling...
feeling like it has finally arrived
at this place that can be called
home,
it awaits, wondering
if the gates will open
and grant entrance
to a worn,
but aged
with grace
vessel~
