Beneath pale glow of Luna's sliver,
...lays verdant plain of reminisce,
Long long agoes on wind's deliver,
...blessed tunes of memories' bliss.

Lone whippoorwill sings vesper song;
...mesmeric breezes touch one's soul,
With murmers soft as passion's long,
...as nature cedes to night's extol.

On wooded crest of distant hill,
...a solemn hush falls on all things,
Silence reigns, no sound until,
...first breath of dawn in splendor sings.

Memories fade in night's retreat,
Sound forth the symphonies of daylight's greet.

I like the imagery of slowly being pulled along by invisible fingers, Tim.  In fact, I need to read it again and again, if nothing more than for the silent soft it lends....

This is a beautiful line, Tim...I enjoyed the idea of a memory-filled night.
