Marriage Blessing

Wedding bells are ringing
listen to the singing
a lovely bride, a handsome groom
through my tears, their joy lights up the room

Courtney and Victor, I wish you the best
love each other completely as you feather your nest
may all of your days be drenched with bright sun
and stars twinkling brightly when each evening comes

a life of pleasure, loving and warm
free of pain, with no rain or storms
spiced with humor, sprinkled with wit
woven with laughter and love tightly knit

bonded by happiness, joy and tears
I wish you the best for all of your years

Hi Lyra, I do believe I saw this one or one similar to it by you a while ago....it stayed with me as it was and is still so beautiful!  Wonderfully done!
Be well...God Bless.
Hugs.

Thanks Nancy,  I couldn't remember whether or not I had posted this one, so I looked it up under smartsearch and it was nowhere to be found.  I probably did post it, but its hard to keep track.
Does smartsearch find every one of our posted poems, because I have probably double posted more than once without realizing it.
Happy Easter and lots of bunny hugs

Lyra,
How totally awesome! You do this so well. If he's like his mamma at all...I'm not even concerned. I wish them well if just for you dear friend. Congratulations to you all.

Thanks for your reply, PDV....I still haven't seen their apartment (they live in NYC, and we haven't been back since the wedding), but I will ask them if they framed it and put it on the wall.....if they haven't they will be embarrassed!
