The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-03-30 03:31 PM

Caught in a labyrinth of love
its' tease unnatural and cruel
she struggles so to find her way
and lets her heart play as a fool.

The twisted hopes on crooked dreams
sill beckon her to walk upon
the ins and outs of fantasy
as real as if they were not wrong.

The maze will wrap around itself
the tunnels dark and twisting round
she stumbles through the road of love
and finds herself thrown to the ground.

At end of time, when angels come
and persuade her to say goodbye
she steps out of the labyrinth
a single tear is all she cries.

This work suggests the tragedy of the broken heart. You have expressed the confusion and the hopelessness very well. To find our wings, we must search the ashes. All good thoughts. ThisDiamond

May love and light always shine upon you!

a fool in love...is there any other kind?
Sad and provoking...so you get nothing for provoking me!

This is really an amazing, if sad write, Sandra.

Sandra dear, did you read my mind when you wrote this one.....you wrote exactly what I've felt.....there truly are kindred spirits out there....and this......is
stunning work......and I truly wonder if I EVER learn....

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.
