In a Lover's Heart

0 posted 2002-03-30 02:12 PM

Being alive means suffering pain
Why do some have more than others?
Why is it more intense?
Cutting deeper to the bone
Seems that the ones that deserve it most
Do the worst hurt to those who love
Where is the justice?
A bigger payoff for the suffering
Or do we just take what we are dealt
Smile and go on with our lives
Why do the tenderhearted pay
While the heartless dance and drink
Live your life right and you will be rewarded
Is hard to swallow when the hurt is every day
The reward is so unclear
But we are who we are
And we will love
And be hurt

Life is too short, supersize it - SG

BRAVO!!! Oh Stephen, this is so very true, I believe there is only one simple creed or karma we are all intertwined in, and that is we should all follow our own hearts and we all endure both pleasure and pain but in the end it will be rewarding! (big hugggsssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Stephen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Hi, welcome to passions. I agree, love is so much pain. Yet still we chase afer it. I wonder why?
