On A Journey To The Unknown

Why was I not protected
Kept safe from all harm
Why did they betray me
Causing me great alarm

Always afraid to trust
In solitude I stayed
No one could I turn to
I was always afraid

Learning very quick
I had to protect myself
What else could I do
There was no one else

Always being yelled at
For something they did
When it came to my fears
Those feelings I just hid

Anger built up inside me
I wasn't worth the time
To be protected by them
It always just blew my mind

Being an unworthy child
To never really be loved
Learning to accept it
Life was just too rough

(EXTRA BIG HUGS) Oh Sue, this is something I know completely well, sweet friend, when I was a little boy I felt no one loved me every day and once I tried to sacrifice myself because I struggled to believe in God back then and I thought He wanted me to live just to be hated and devoured by everyone, and I always felt depressed, but then after I met my 9th grade English teacher, he changed my life forever and now I have learned to love myself and God and while there will always be those who suppress my doctrines or give me a cold shoulder, I know we all have a few close friends and that is something I am blessed for! (sigh) No one should ever be treated that way, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you and know you are loved by so many always! We all love you so much, sweet friend, my thoughts are with you always, God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!
