It's five O'clock in the morning
first night alone's slipped away
the curtains on this open window
flutter as the breeze's play
and I stare out at the lonely street
gazing through the falling rain
as I sit here thinkin why we
said good-bye yesterday.

Chorus:
Oh baby I know winds of change will always blow
there's no doubt they stir in every soul
and we drifted by the reason
we were joined at the heart
Now I can't describe this feeling
at the end of where to start.

In two more hours I leave this room
and fade into the working game
I might see you around sometime
but things'll never be the same
Still I wish I could hold you now
one more time to ease the pain
but our time was up with nothing left
but to go our separate ways

Chorus:
Oh baby I know winds of change will always blow
there's no doubt they stir in every soul
and we drifted by the reason
we were joined at the heart
Now I can't describe this feeling
at the end of where to start.

spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

Hey E-babes...where ya been....
so good to see your name here....
and you know Im loving this bittersweet beauty...an achingly melodic write.
You write the longing so that we feel the blues coming on.
Hope all is well up your way poet pal....good to read your rhymes again.

how about how good it feels to finally forgive you

(sigh) I can feel a little sadness and yearning in these words, sweet friend, I hope everything is alright and now the beginning has returned to your heart and love is close to your heart everyday now! (big hugggssssss) My thoughts are always with you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
