Gambling

I took a risk, and ventured out.

There is a delicate beauty to loving you,
a fine touch needed,
each measured with sensitivity.

I took a gamble, when I fell in love.

How far is it, the distance
to your heart?
How many curves, till I reach the core?

You make the possible, impossible.

But I am here,
with my crosses to bear,
writing still, between the lines.

I spin my thoughts, like a roulette wheel.

Emotions rise to each memory
won against the odds, a slight taste
to tease the maybe out of me.

I took a gamble, when I fell in love.

Sometimes you win,
sometimes, I lose.
It's all in how you play the game...

This is GR8!
I love the gambling premise

Well we can't win the jackpot all the time,
so I stick to the slot machines and wait to hear the bells ring.
This was fantastic Maureen!!!

(smiles) This is so very true, sweet friend, sometimes we may not hit the jackpot right away, but there will always be a stroke of luck we bet upon that Roulette rack of chance that will offer us all our heart desires and everybody wins in the end! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

That is the best news...I would certainly hate it if you weren't still here after all of that gambling!
