The Tilt of Scale

On a frisky divvy scale of schemes
Blind justice feels and weighs my dreams
I kiss her cheek in tender weep
The joy of wiles that I can reap

She knows fare well the things I do
The love and mischief that I brew
The kingdoms that I rave declare
My only love my maiden fair.

She smiles in Braille my tilt of scale
And laughs inside my lusty sail
She favors me a willows weep
Serendipity of my sweep

She loves the gestures of amour
Coup of a lover’s magic store
The fire and brand of its stand
That procreates this earth and land.

So I tilt her scale with many wiles
And she answers me with many smiles.

Keeping this one, too!

JM has a way of not only saying it all, but expressing how your poems make us all feel but also allowing me to me exhale all at one time   You get two hugs for this and did I ever tell you I love your poetry?  I also don't know if love or justice will ever save mankind either.  Wonderfully done Sy.

Hmmm...is that a good thing or a bad thing?   LOL, oh well either way I am just me I guess, and this happened to speak volumes to my feelings today on what I was thinking actually.  I printed this out and maybe I read more into it than was there, but somehow your words felt almost comforting today in this very crazy world.

You've got some awesome images and play on words here, this is one of the coolest poems that I've ever read.  Sy, take a bow and call yourself a poet!

Take care,
