A Breeze I’d love to share a breeze with you to touch the same fresh air I’d have a chance to get a view of wind blown through your hair And if I stayed awhile nearby inhaled a breath or two in waves of air that flowed so nigh I’d catch the scent of you I’d love to watch the moon reflect a glisten in your eyes and in that moment might detect a whisper in your sighs And if a cloud should dare come near and hide the moon so blue when next the light would reappear I’d steal a kiss or few I’d love to share a breeze with you and listen to your song I might perchance then hear anew the dream for which I long © 03.26.02 |
