The heart of you

0 posted 2002-03-27 01:15 PM

Our hearts are joined together by this moon
That hangs so brightly in the sky tonight.
And now, my eyes await the time when soon,
Our souls will meet in passion's sweet unite.
Star and sky will not turn their eyes our way,
For they hold the secrets our hearts have told;
So that when comes again the light of day,
We will not be the subject of its scold.
Now, with our secrets kept Dear One, let's fly
To that place where we need not wear these masks.
Where all that matters love, is you and I.
A place where we can in our lovelight bask.

Then there, my love, I'll take you in my arms.
There to fall, Dear One, to your many charms.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Hi Moonlight Romeo ...

Very sweet images you have here ... a very romantic picture you have painted ...

"Where all that matters love, is you and I.
A place where we can in our lovelight bask."

I'm touched ...

SWEETHEART! FOR ME?? A SONNET!! REALLY?!

You're too kind, Dear!

This is beautiful. I should have known that you could do these. Maybe you should open up the secret place and sell tickets to a show of what real love is supposed to be like.

a thousand winks to ya, friend not the sleepy kind either.

Geesh..and I thought this was for ME!

YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE!!
I'm gonna tell!

I loved this, Moonlight Romeo. It has your wonderful flavor of simply adoring love..the kind that is so soft it makes you weak.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

Verve, thank you, I'm glad.

RosePetal, I am honored to be in your library.  Thank you.

Pilgrimage, there is nothing more in the world.  Thank you.

Dear One, yes, for you.  I'd sell tickets, but I really wouldn't want anyone to interrupt us.

vandana, thank you.

Mistletoe Angel, thank you for your very kind words.

Temptress, I'm sorry, but this isn't for you.     But, yes, it's full of that kind of love, the only kind there is.  Thank you.
