Randy

I climbed upon the wagon
Now a lover to the end
I have tamed me a dragon
Once a foe but now a friend

With drawn weapons of rebel
Fire and feel out of control
We fought and raged in symbols dwell
Hell without a chance of parole

Always sang a ribald song
Always stressed I wanted more.
I wanted more and knew it wrong
And I argued to the core

Comes a time of simple sage
For it’s time that springs the trap
We fought till I came of age
Now he sits upon my lap.

I named him Randy Dragon and
He has joined me on the wagon.

Seymour(RandyInDisguise)~

I have met your dragon
and found him such a dear
He can sit on my lap anytime
so send him over here~

I will stroke his smoke
and scratch his little ego
Randy and I will be just fine
when off to battle we must go~

I'll cover his back
and he'll do the same with mine
Me and Randy roaring loudly
in another place and time~

Me Wub Randy (and you even MORE)
*Hugs*

JM,
Hey, Randy just jumped off my lap and took off. You better watch out I don't know what he'll do.

Randy’s gone to meet the mystic
Puff, who’s magic is not spent
For their days be lent artistic
Over their paint-pots, bent

Are they done with clues of views?
Nay, these dragons have a quest
As I see them sipping brews
In their minds I would invest

For I have within my mind you see
A solemn bit of treasured thought
That they shall fly back in reverie
And riches shall be brought

For they are not done with my mind
As I am Keeper of their finds

Seymour darling boy, this is utterly gorgeous writing

I have a friend who’s dear to me
He cheers me when I’m down
A dragon named as Randy
Who’ll chase away my frown

He doesn’t puff too much smoke
In fact he’s very nearly tame
A proper little dragon bloke
Who’s modest about his fame

We like to sit and chat together
About the whys, the ifs, and such
We just rumble on forever
Dragons have the common touch

If you should need a dragon friend
I’ll always share him with you
A dragons faithful till the end
Or until the time is through

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Sy,

cool poem you have here! i liked this very
much indeed...

So this is the dragon they call Randy
He seems very nice indeed
I guess I've been away for too long
But now I'm caught up to speed

So Randy it's nice to meet you
You seem to be a friend whose true
I'm so glad that our paths have crossed
I am really beginning to like you...

Thanks for the awesome read Sy!
take care.

I like this very much, Seymour... it has many depths to ponder. *S* The whimsy is delightful... but it packs also the wisdom of accepting and embracing our dreams as well as our realities. *S* Well done!
