Fog over the mountain slips
clinging to the valleys,
hold me close that way
and lead me down the grade.

Through the passes of your heart
beneath the morning sky,
come quietly in the stillness
take my dreams and let them fly.

Walk with me through prairie fields
cascading in the sunlight,
share with me your nature
and the weaving of your tapestry.

High above the hills,
reaching a plateau
standing closer to the edge,
I hope you'll never let me go.

You're the whirlwinds in my pocket
the wanderer in my lust,
a gentle mist of rain
my rush of golden dust.

Leave your footprints on my trail
be my night turned into days,
guide me down this path
so that I'll never lose my way....

BluesSerenade~
I just love this~
Reminded me instantly of the old cowboy movie-line,
"Let's cut 'em off at the pass."

And this, my dear, is BEAUTIFUL ...

'You're the whirlwinds in my pocket
the wanderer in my lust,
a gentle mist of rain
my rush of golden dust.'

Here's hoping someone meets you at the pass~

I would hate to get tripped up and slide down the damn hill.  Funny thing is I've followed directions and convinced myself I was lost only to find out later I was in right place to begin with.

Talk about chasing your own tail!!

Thanks so much for reading, I appreciate you all taking the time out.
