I was here long ago
when the numbers were few
when the dreams were dark
and the mind unbound

I was here at the heart
when others saw the dark
and the light in the dark
and a space unresolved in me

I am here now at the end of the road
i am here to be forgotten

The very deep did rot: O Christ!
That ever this should be!
Yea, slimy things did crawl with legs
Upon the slimy sea.

Walter, you are not forgotten!!!
I remember the Dark Passions days too.
You sound so sad, hope all is ok.

I hope you'll stay.

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.

It's good to see poets return after long absences. And it's nice to meet you. I hope you stick around and post more poetry.

the place has chaged a lot, I haven't been around much either. A lot of poets and poems. Not enough time.
