Demon woman cast me adrift in waste lands
Imprisoned in open spaces of nothing
Where denuded tree limbs shatter into stone
Dust storms bleed you dry of emotions
In thirst you cry in the sands of time
In heat that bakes you immobile
You stand your ground within your pride

Demon woman do not take my song away
Into the silence of sun rays bleaching
The bones of existence from memories
Leave me have a second of nothing
In all the futility that I will still crawl to you
In nails that scar the ground in howling sounds
That reverberates in eerie echoes of screaming death

Demon woman you left me alone in fend my void
As my life slipped beyond me and I was then supported
In whispers of winds my ears gave birth
To the inner faith of an unknown destiny
My lifeless eyes gained the moisture of angel tears
As my nails prayed in a new song

Demon woman you left me out of your womb
In your excruciating pain you gave me hope
As you were banished by the heavens of hope
You left me orphaned to my purpose away from you
In retreat I still sought you out as your power diminished
In a spell you left me alone again in inner hope

Demon woman I still bleed in needs
But the purpose to exist in a miracle cleanses me
As the ground before me now grows the fruit of purpose
My hand claims the ground in a garden of love
Rich in the moisture to carry on dreams
As my team of angels stand their ground in my light

Well, what does one say to a poem like this. It is simply amazing.

D. Lester Young I am speechless, this is outstanding writing.
Truly an impressive poem that conveys the impact that a single person can have on another.  Super fantastic craftsmanship of the demons that lurk within, and the angels that watch over us.
