She Is The confetti of my parade The smiling mask of masquerade The moving staircase of my stride The cornucopia of my pride She is the wind beneath my wings The preservative of my things She whispers love into my ear At least to me so it appear. She understands my every mood She’s my fantasy and my food. The gentle feel of velvet glove The ghostly dove of tender love. The Aphrodite of my mind A sense of purpose that I find A soul that opened up a door Into the sight of evermore There is no brighter bright than thee And so I thank you humbly. |
