No Apologies

I'm sorry, but I'm not like the others
I don't fawn and figure my worth
By how much you think of my earth-
Ly beauty or how much skin I can show

I'm sorry to say it, but that Barb-
Ie image is a barb in woman's side
A thorn in her breast, her heart, her smile
There's no such thing as an imperfection of defile

I'm sorry but I won't hold that
Plastic, Brain-dead, underfed wanton as my 'gold standard'
Woman is golden, her own soul, an no-one's so bold
As to otherwise defy what here I testify

I'm sorry but I am not a feminist
Though, you will think to argue otherwise
But Barbe... she's hollow
Beauty
Beauty's in my mother's eyes

"Why should I live? Why should I do anything? Is there in life any purpose which the inevitable death that awaits me does not undo and destroy?" --

BRAVO!!! Yes, yes, a woman is always entitled to her own feelings and decisions, it always hurts me to see others try and set a womans destiny before them! (sigh) May you forever follow your dreams and stay true to yourself, sweet friend, we all love you so much, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Alice, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I agree!! Besides, Barbie can only bend certain ways..how can she change a tire if she can't get down on her knees??

Barbie would never get down on her knees!
This is wonderful. To often women are held to some standard that misses the whole point.

I agree, people live up to "standerds" too much, i know I do myself its sad to say but at my age *coff* *coff* 16 *coff* *coff*
you constantly have everyone around you judging you how u look or act, that is why im in the gym 4-5 times a week, for myself but for a large portion for other people. And thats 2nd portion shouldnt be there.
Good writing
