Hot winds of summer extinguish
A wavering spirit, yellowed from time and pain
The asphalt, beaten down from the suns heat wave
And, in that moment- thought…
That I’d never sleep again
A grain of sand on the shores of eternity

My soul drowned in the depths of your eyes
I lost part of me forever
But, awakened to the terrible demon of insecurity
As promises flung upon the breath of indifference,
Balanced on the wings of deceit
Secrets abandoned for vultures to devour

Devoted never and always,
Or forever and a day
Trapped between infatuation and true love,
Reality and child-like dreaming
You’ve promised me nothing, everything,
And, this moment-

Allow me to sleep now
Permit my simplified dreams to
Whither: let out the icy love of a
Cold blue flame that flickers
When the shadow of truth blows out.
In silence,
Matter your true lies again,
Allow me to believe in love for now.

A Musician must make his Music,
An Artist must Paint,
A Poet must Write,
if he/she is to ultimately
be at Peace with himself.

(smiles) Wow, I think we can all understand this optimistic feeling every now and then where we feel true love needs much more strength and balance but we just want to hang on to what we have left and encourage love to stay in the meantime as true loves lies! (kiss on cheek) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

:squeee:

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
