It wasn’t easy to forget
The way at sunset you hair caught the last light
And in silhouette your face was hidden
So that I could not see what your eyes were saying
While you stretched with arms over head
As if yawning out an old day with its exhausted stale
Then breathed in the stars and nights pillowed hills

It wasn’t easy to forget
Because I looked for those times
To paint on minds gallery images not
Harsh like the noon stripped eyes
That offered no shade, cast no shadows
Leaving no place to hide but inside
The shadows of my own.

The way at sunset your hair caught the last light
I was fooled into thinking you had a halo

The way you look at people
makes some of us wish
we could fall under
your glance

Thanks for the comment Deca... we all see... sometimes we just don't notice.

Ron

Yes, Deca is right..I felt that too.  You see through and into, but this one is with the soft light of love, and the edge of disappointment.

Thanks Martie.. you are too kind..
we all see into and through, I think we just choose to ignore what we know, because it is easier.

Reminds me of times when I have lay in the darkness and willed myself to always remember the moment, knowing it wouldn't last any other way.  Love this, Ron.  And the halo...priceless.

Thanks Duncan... it is the times we will ourselves to remember or the times that will us to remember... either way.

WOW!!! I love this one, sweet friend, I think this wonderfully depicts the experience in which we sometimes fail to notice the true beauty that lies within and how it just may flicker so abruptly our eyes can't register it and how if we can feel for someone we must be able to captivate these momens and feel the light of love rather than just the words! (smiles) This is absolutely wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautfiul heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
