The Right To Run ~My Dear Man~ There's never been a kinder soul who's heart's made with finer gold No eyes, but yours, I'd care enough to dream into Never a soul to shine with your magnitude like a sequenced sky For, no one holds a candle next to you... ~My Dear Man~ I've been many places and I have been many things Lord knows I've lived a lifetime down on my knees I've certainly known the rain but you've taken this pain The moment, sweet moment, you believed in me.... ~My Dear Man~ All my life I've been running as far as I could But, never a destination I cared to stay And, now, the urge is within to go as fast as then Only, my right to run is anywhere but away... ~My Dear Man~ Cause, you are that light in the distance ahead for me I wear such honor when my minds image finds your face I believe I breathe to the rhythm of your beating heart I've never ran, My Dear Man, with this much grace... ~My Dear Man~ It's been absolutely everything I never knew it could be This once in a lifetime journey I've been running through My right to run became my most awesome mile The second, sweet second, I believed in you... ~My Dear Man~ I love, I do, so genuinely from this heart of mine I'd like to think you're my reward for withstanding the storms I've found heaven here resting in the palms of your hands Now, I know, I just know, what I've been running for... ~My Dear Man~ You must know you can never ever care too much Never be sorry for what God places before your eyes I know it was just your will to chase the chill from wounded ones But, don't judge yourself to where your heart may lie... ~My Dear Man~ You can never be too blessed or too rich with life's gifts There's nothing wrong with running if your heart's part of it You have the right to run, My Dear Man, if you choose Just forgive me, if at night, I still hold onto you... What a beautiful poem of tribute to mark your 1,  th milestone. You've written so many fantastic poems and supported so many others.
