She used to fall in love so easily
she was every con man’s prey
innocent but worldly wise
liberated but fey

So she's not looking for Mr. Right
she's just looking for Mr. right now
Her idea of a lover’s commitment
doesn’t include a lover’s vow

Burned too many times by lust
she thought was meant as love
reaching out to grab a hand
only to get an empty glove

Mr. Right may exist somewhere
but she won’t pursue that dream
she’s learned a lesson from her past
use ‘em and lose ‘em is now her scheme

I'm sure Mr Right Exist somewhere... and I am sure once found all the mistakes will seem a lot less important..

Nice message and a nice poem. I enjoyed

(sigh) This is soooooooo wonderfully expressed, sweet friend, I too know that eventually she will find Mr. Right too, for as long as she believes in herself and her dreams, she can never go wrong and he will always be behind that corner for her! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is soooooo powerfully expressed! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I thought I met Mr. Right once... Unfortunately he was out for dinner with Mrs. Right and all the children...

Well said verse, PdV... Indeed..

For a moment, i was torn between the meaning of
Mr. Right NOW
or Mr. Right, happening to occur Now
but i guess, if a person can't find either, the answer is moot. *s*
Still, a penetrating you write of: an analysis of dealing with,
justification of, and enjoying an attitude change.

I had a chuckle with this one. Love'em and leave'em? A bit cynical, but perhaps a necessary element of survival after having been on the other side of that line more than once. for a right good write.
