A lemon drop sky soon arrives with the dawn.
The morning dew shimmers across emerald green.
Trees dance in the breeze like a graceful swan,
Depicting a most magnificent scene.

As the robin sings a cheerful song
The blush of the rose kisses the day.
The fragrance of lilacs ever so strong,
While the bees and the butterflies gently play.

Evening approaches with radiant skies.
The sun on the horizon drops from sight.
Then the day meets the night with an affectionate sigh.
And the cobalt sky gives way to the satin veil of night.

The tangerine moon is shining so bright,
As moonbeams bounce off the amethyst sky.
While the twinkling sapphires glitter the night
Pearl white cotton clouds start to drift slowly by.

The watercolors of day through night
Portray a kaliedescopic wonder.
The vision of all is quite a sight
With quite the multitude of color.

What a dull and dreary world it would be without that palette of stunning color to brighten our lives...very nice!
