A smile of one to grace the eyes
to bring to ears the softest sighs
To yearn to kiss and hold one’s face
To sip of finest wine in grace

She dreams again of wanton times
Of cooler nights and softer climes
She would again be held in arms
That had retrieved her given charms

A touch of soft, treasured linger
Flowing over curves, a gentle finger
Moist lips that beg to be once kissed
Thoughts shared by two in times of bliss

The shadows hid the tear of death
The winds, they took away her breath
The hills, they held her love so dear
Alone, when alone, what is to fear?

The golden sun in shine of bright,
showering two lovers in warmest light
A parting glance from misted view
Two are one now born again new.

But ‘twas a dream, a dream, misspent
Pale daylight found this woman, bent
O’er a grave, where flowers were laid
For a Knight worthy, his life’s debt, paid

My Enchanted....thank you, but half the
credit goes to an anonymous muse...

Floria,  thanx,  and my muse should be
credited for the touching story...I was
quite surprised by that piece of the poem.

Noah...thank you my fine friend...always so
kind..

Martie,  thank you dear lady...appreciate
your response..

Melissa,  a muse worthy of the write gave me
the lines that truly added to the poem.

Apparently you have chosen your muse with great care...keep your muse close, as the two of you suit each other very well...

Magnus,
You may have written better, but I can't remember when. Excellent.
