In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-03-21 02:27 PM

The clouds whispered their
Goodnight, faded colors
Of dying reds and hues of gray
Gathered to kiss the sky
Mirrored in reflection
Over the stillness of the lake

Standing there in the meadow
A silhouette of gentle light,
The moon dances upward
To face the night alone
Proving that existence
Still roams freely, softly
Even in troubled times

I know my faith is upon the wind
I have hope for days gone by
I believe I am the stronger one,
Though still my heart does cry

I seek the freedom life can give,
And ask my soul be free
I offer a silent gift of hope
To place before you feet

Knowing

I am the mountain,
The rain, the stars
Beauty encompasses my soul
Still in the mist of our tangled mind

A faded dove flies
Humbly

Seeking
Peace

Greeneyes~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows
of my heart

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.
