Back in then I met a now,
and we fell into the ever,
and what we had--we called "wow",
we had love for that time.

And many suns it is past when,
(but as the dawning rose once more,)
that for one instant now was then.
(I realized a bit more that was.)

For now and me had thought to be,
together in that time as one,
and for lives and the future we,
would be but that alone.

But the present and I realize,
that for all evers gone and soon,
our "wow" lives, it ne'er dies,
and now is my all times ever.

Hm, I think an epidemic of the "odd" variety has snatched me this afternoon. All I find myself writing is this stuff. I think it's slightly cool, but that's just me. (I am a fan of E.E. Cummings, coolest poet ever, so go figure.)
