It's Spring - inspired by Morcastlin's poem, "The Living Spring"

"They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams."
NIV Isaiah 44:4

I feel the breeze flow through the trees, smell newborn pollen's scent
And see the buds burst forth in leaves, adore green's painted tint
And ev'rywhere I go I hear birds singing pretty songs
For spring is birthing life anew with nature's pretty throngs.

Where are the dark long shadows? Spring's new light chased them away
For winter's past; dark nights are gone, a new spring claims the day!
With rains and dew, sweet blossoms, too, as brightness fills the air
Children playing in the park sing happy sounds ev'rywhere.

And look! There are two lovers, sweet.. Swinging hands as they prance
Strolling sweet romantic steps gazing at a new spring's dance
And listen as the church bells ring, as angels sing in blue
The heaven's shout from stars about in bands of rainbow hue.

I feel the breeze flow through the trees, smell newborn pollen's scent
And see the buds burst forth in leaves, adore green's painted tint
And ev'rywhere I go I hear birds singing pretty songs
For spring is birthing life anew with nature's pretty throngs.

It's spring.
