Again,
feeding into myself
nourishing me
another fight...
if only I knew
my enemy.

sometimes

I have thoughts
like this

and turn away
from the
mirror...

Well done Maureen...

nourishing me
another fight...
if only I knew
my enemy.

Been there; done that. And then I met my enemy staring back at me in my mirror. My, what a handsome enemy he was.

thanks, I  have  just learned all my  pain  and suffering and harsh coughing for over 6 months is not due to being allergic, as once assumed. I didn't even show a single negative response to any allergens, not even the most common.

So that leaves the alternative supposition that my coughing, which at one time was a result of a summer flu or cold, has begun feeding upon itself, thinking it is a necessary part of me now...

Sometimes we have so many enemies in disguised. I really enjoyed this one, I understand the struggle.

(sigh) This is sooooooo powerfully expressed, sweet friend, as long as we always trust our instincts and love ourselves always, we will always identify our true friends in life and ignore those who try to harm us! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shien upon you!

Love,

Maureen....Now I am worried about you.
I don't mean to worry you, but my cancer was originally diagnosed as a bladder infection.
I took all sorts of anti-biotics, some of which I ended up being allergic to...before learning the awful truth.
Please check further into that cough...don't sweep it under the rug.

I loved the way you parlayed it into a poem, though...
Take care of yourself,  lots of huggggssss!

Gosh, Maureen, I sure hope you're seeing a competent physician, and demanding  additional testing. This doesn't sound like anything to ignore.
Peaceful healing thoughts, keep writing, and please, get more than one opinion about your health.
