            The Kiss

I look up at a feather sky.
And I am near to swoon.
Where rorsahak clouds nestle and fly.
Under the light of noon.

She lies my side with rose bud lips
Under the light of noon.
While touching her with finger tips
And I am near to swoon.

My heart is pain torment and bliss
And I am near to swoon.
To bend me down and steal a kiss
Under the light of noon

But do I dare these lips in haste
Under the light of noon.
And do I dare inhale the taste
For I am near to swoon.

Will she pageant this tete-a-tete,
Or has the moment past in wait?
Under the light of noon
For I am near to swoon.

What a poem,
what a poem,
what a poem!

I LOVE IT.
As a romantic, this touches my heart. It's so sweet, romantic, gentle and full of passion. It superbly written, has great rhyme, and kept my attention the entire way.

"But do I dare these lips in haste
Under the light of noon.
And do I dare inhale the taste
For I am near to swoon."

How wodnerful. Maybe one day I'll show this to my wife.

Sy,
You you swoon a nice toon. I had that very experience the first time I kissed my wife. Middle of the night beside a lake...full moon...fishermen with lanterns...and lips.

This was very "swoony" and I loved every word of this one.
