Two very special people
jumped from friendship into love
everything went smootly
she knew he was sent from up above.
The couple hit a rough spot
she nearly lost her mind
he heard things that drove him mad
he became angry and she responded in kind.
The patched it up, or so they thought
but to her something just wasn't right
she tried to talk to a friend about it
but instead she picked a fight.
She did some serious thinking
to find out what was wrong
four hours of boredom gave her time
figuring it out didn't take her long.
She talked to him about it
put the suggestion on the table
after some thought he agreed
only one question remained: would they be able?
Because my friends, what they agreed
is something I won't say
between the two it is a challenge
they may even start today.
I will say something about the two
they know that it is real;
My point to this entire thing?
Don't give up when life hands you a raw deal.

YAY!!! Oooohhhhh...this is a gorgeous poem with a true and honest message, sweet friend, life is always filled with opportunities and when love and other precious things come our ways, may we always do what we can to hold onto it, for they are bound to shape our lives with joy forever! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is breathtaking! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Rhonda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Well it is a fact that many relationships don't last very long because one or the other decides working out the problems isn't worth it and bails out...
I think this is an important lesson to learn...being able to determine if the problems are too many and not worth spending the time or are they just the normal problems that will be found in every relationship...James

Wonderfully done Skyfire, and I agree with James, relationships are a lot of hard work, and it takes two to make or break them. Nice job!

Loved it Sky.
I'd give you an indepth reply,
which you know I do.
But you also know why I don't feel up to it.
But it was a beautiful poem, and it read very smoothly. Lovely ending.
