Sweet scent of Jasmine
that's what you are
dear friend, gift of God.
Bright Star over India...
you fill my life
with all the radiant glory
of the Moon and the stars.
Each day, the horizon
of your friendly light
floods my soul with wonder

my friend, my gift from God
~~~My Star over India~~~
This is very beautiful. I have a sister in India. She is my bright star over India. Thanks for reminding me of her.
Thanks everyone for your comments.  And, yes, this is written for my friend, Mustafa Basha, in India.  He is a college student who writes poetry and I have been helping him to develop his God-given gift.  We have become good friends over the months.  So...I wrote this tribute to my wonderful friend, Musu.
Passions is a wonderful place where poets have found connections with other poets in which to help each other...but there is nothing like the special personal connection of a friend helping a friend in any walk of life, with any sort of passion...it is that belief that keep so many of us moving forward...
a wonderful tribute...
