Can you believe this?  I woke up to a darn snow storm warning in March?
Will someone pahleeze fire our weatherman?
These are color pictures believe it or not, that is how dark and dismal it is here in Vancouver on March 18th, 2002.

and OH we've got to be quick to see that this isn't a weather report, but a very clever Senryu...

Being a native Michigander, I am not surprised! I have seen snow storms in April some years...*LOL* Beautiful pictures though! I miss the snow...*S*

(smiles) Awwwwwww, that does look sooooo pretty, sweet friend, I am ready for spring but I always am delighted too to see magpies and flickers and blue jays out on my birdfeeder in the snow! (kiss on cheek) This is a breathtaking presentation, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Gee, snow! God is cleansing your dirty air again? Probably needed it.

Fire the weatherman? The messenger? Why not just feed the birds? Or you could do what I did and move to Florida. Why not just enjoy your snow. For I'm pretty sure that it will not last long this time! And then, ... whee! Have fun!

Smiling here. For once it's not us. Today we have sunshine, and in a few minutes, we're  going outside to groom the horses and do some "Spring" ground training. We will be thinking about you.

Thank you all for putting up with my antics!  I couldn't believe it when I woke up and saw snow on the ground, and it is still snowing! Poor little birds, but then mine are fed gourmet seed, so that is why they brave the cold I guess   Only in Vancouver!  Yesterday I had no jacket on, and today I need snowshoes

And in MA we are having the same snow. Yesterday, light jacket, today boots and mittens. And my poor garden is shivering as the little plants pop their heads out of the dirt to be greated by flakes of frozen water. And to think, Wednesday is the first day of Spring. Maybe on the calendar but not in reality.

I enjoyed this! It's snowing like crazy here in the northern Idaho mountains too. We got about four new inches today, it never got above 26 degrees, and it's still going. I had to write this:

wind swirling skies
winter’s on the rise
timid sun went back to bed
to rest its feeble eyes

sweet sugar lace
blows down winter’s face
spring was peeking in the door
but did not leave a trace

Lovely pictures, Sharon....
I am one of those people who prefers dark days to bright sunny ones, so your pictures look just right to me.
Here in Michigan, it sometimes snows way into April and a couple of times, I have seen it snow in May....
It was 20 degrees here on Saturday night and I am still hibernating.  Chipmunks usually don't leave their little underground condos until its consistantly over 50 degrees...We aren't too much into snow.....but we actually enjoy the rain.

Yep, I heard you got snow out there in Vancouver today. They did in Newfoundland too. Fortunately, we got none here in Ontario, and we don’t want it thanks…you can keep it out there!!! Lol. Lovely pictures Sharon.
