The Hills about our Meadows
~~~
Those hills about your meadows
seem to glow
with brighter greens
When sunlight
strikes the waters
of your crystal flowing streams
The serpents
surfing tidal waves
shall ne're return from lore
Since shamrock
troth the Trinity
upon your blessed shore
Fair sunshine
waves to celebrate
rejoyce
St. Patrick's hand
Know the hills
about our meadows
glow with gleams
of
Ireland
~~~

For some reason, meadows and hills  just sound so lovely to me...Especially if green with newness of the coming Spring. Thanks for sharing, Rex *s

A right good start, m'boyo...now, a bit more, for I would skirt the hills in colors fair, and ride the stars o'er fields not bare, 'twould see the heather in glory bold! and hear yet one more Irish tale told....

Rex, this is one of the best Irish tunes. Ever one makes me wish to magically appear there.
